The succulent flowers in the back garden are in bloom again. Some have even started drying out and fading to pink (from orange).

The new year is here and I'm feeling quiet. I'm resting, reading, gardening and playing lots of spelltower. I also just did a huge driving trip up north totaling 4ooo kms. That's a of lot of music listening and singing time!

So 2012, year of the dragon. What do you have install for us all. Eh?

  1. These flowers are fantastic. What succulent are they from (or what does it look like)?

Is spelltower as addictive as words with friends? I spend more time playing words with friends than I would like to admit publicly.

  2. Aren't these flowers the best Belinda? I've looked and looked and can't find the name for the succulent they belong to. I grew it from a cutting from my ex-neighbour's plant. The plant has medium-size white/silvery/grey leaves. The plant itself grows long stems that twist and curl so that the plant grows quite large, even from a pot. And then in summer you get long stems pushing out these orange flowers.

Spelltower is as additive as words with friends. But so much fun. I love the rush.

It might help you find the plant.

    1. Wow, I wonder why that is Priya? Mine are in a north facing backyard so they get full sunlight all year round. Maybe if you moved yours...?
